Investments into Flow Racking, investments into efficiency

Dalepak are always interested as to how we can go about being more efficient in certain processes. First we came across Voice Picking, which enabled employees to save time by being directed by a headset as to where units that needed to be collected were.

Now, we have installed something called Flow Racking into picking areas. Flow racking is a unique type of storage facility which uses gravity to assemble the next unit once something has been picked and taken off of the shelf.

This in turn, cuts out a section of the process. And this of course, makes turnaround time quicker, and makes our employee’s work more efficient.
