Online Stock Enquiry Launched

Dalepak's Information Systems took yet another step forward following the introduction of an online stock enquiry system.

The system, which is constantly updated throughout the working day to give up to date, accurate information, enables existing customers to securely log in and check anything, from the amount of a specific product delivered to our warehouse, to finding out how much stock of a product is being stored, to obtaining a POD of a delivered order.

Dalepak's Logistics Director, Gary White, is delighted with the results and the benefits that customers will receive. "It puts the information in front of the customer so that they know exactly where their stock is at any time. It also gives complete transparency to the work that we do, which gives our customers confidence in our company and the services that we provide."

The online stock enquiry follows on from the recent introduction of real time scanning to the whole of Dalepak's warehousing operation.

"It's a great combination of the technology" says Gary. "Someone in our warehouse can pick an order, and 5 minutes later it's on the screen of a customer on the other side of the world!"
